digital picture resizing in Vista

Just bought a new desktop with Vista Home Premium and am trying to familiarize myself with the differences to XP. When storing pictures from my digital camera in the picture file, I cannot right click and change the pixel size for storage and e mailing. XP had a neat resizing program that allowed you to right click the picture and resize it. Is there a way to do this in Vista? That was such a neat tool. Thanks

"Vista now allows you to highlight a group of photo?s to be emailed, click the ?email? button on the toolbar, and choose the appropriate resolution size & approximate file size you wish to email. After clicking the attach button Vista brings up Windows Mail and automatically included the pictures into the attachment at the smaller resolution size. All you need to do is type in the email address you wish to send them to & click send." from http://www.myzips.com/blog/how-to-quickly-resize-digital-pictures-with-vista/

waiting for picture resizer for Vista

This may sound like a trivial reason, but I won't switch my desktop to my Vista hard drive until picture resizer works...because my wife uses it all the time for emails. We use Earthlink Mailbox and sometimes I include a picture in the body of the email. Sure, a picture can be resized in Vista but there is no way my wife is going to:

1. right click on a picture
2. send to mail recipient
3. click attach
4. right click on the picture file in the Attach line
5. click open
6. click on Copy to Gallery
7. and finally, open Pictures to access the resized picture

As far as I've heard there has been no movement on creating any powertoys for Vista or updating the existing lineup designed for XP (aside from SyncToy), so I wouldn't hold my breath on that front.

Sorry.
