Digital Picture Frame with No Video

by Mr_Mango_Salsa / August 25, 2015 10:54 AM PDT

I am looking for a Digital Picture Frame that has no video playback ability. I found two from Sony for $200 and $400 but I was hoping to spend less than that. The $200 one is Sony DPF-D80 8-Inch LCD Digital Photo Frame.

The other details aren't so important--it's hard enough to find a frame with no video as it is. Happy

Can anyone suggest a less expensive product?

If you can get over your no-video requirement.

8 inch tablets can do digital picture frame work easily. The VTAB1008-V is over at Staples for 70 bucks. It has a card slot for more picture storage.

That's less than half your 200 dollar find.

Nixplay Frame

Definitely check out the Nixplay Cloud Frame. It's the first frame of it's kind taking in all your social media photos and posting it on to your frame without you having to use a USB. There are USB slots as well and it's all wi-fi. They also have a ton of different styles and colors!

Given the price, I'd use my old tablet with DayFrame.

Most digital photo frames that don't play video require external storage to hold the photos such as an SD Card or a USB Flash drive. The ones that do have internal storage will mostly play both photos and videos. Sungale is a smaller brand compared to some of the others, but they do have regular DPF's that only display photos in a couple different sizes. There are a couple other brands out there also.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
