Digital Pen for Macs?

Oct 25, 2005 8:58AM PDT

Does anyone know if there exists a digital pen (similar to the Anoto based pens available for PCs) for Macs? I'm not looking for something like the Wacom tablet/pen combinations. I'm interested in something that I can use to take notes on a pad of paper (special paper if necessary), that will also capture my notes as I am writing them for later transfer to my iBook.

Thanks.

Digital Pen for Macs...

Did you ever get an answer to this post? I would also love to use a pen (paper based, not tablet based) like the Logitech io2 pen with my Mac G4 PowerBook and G4 Imac and System 10, but it appears it is only Windows compatable. I suppose with the new Intel based machines you could figure out a Mac/Windows work around, but is there any other solution?

What is wrong with your keyboard? Broken?
DreamWorks can help you out at huge cost also. Do you have a ton of cash?
Why not ask Anoto based pens available for PCs? They will give you the answer. Yes or No for a Mac.
If you took all your notes that are easily recognised and scanned them using Readiris 7 Pro, that is one way to go. Does work.
Good Luck.

Digital Pen for BlackBerry

Digital pen and digital paper are available for your blackberry.

This is a very cool device that scans special digitally encoded paper, transmits it to your Blackberry and then emails it to your notebook (Mac or Win). This can also be automated and is ideal for filling in preformatted documents, multiple choice exams or simply writing/drawing on the Oxford Easybook lined digital notebook. A all inclusive kit cost around
