It looks like no one wants to tackle this one.
And I do know why.
Some digital cameras have Date/Time stamp features.
I don't know of any camera database that lists "Date Stamp" or "Time Stamp" in their specification lists.
So there is no list of what cameras have that feature.
And some cameras (Canon) can do Date Stamp but only on certain size images.
Most cameras can now be attached directly to a printer and you can print-out the photo with the Date/Time stamps.
The firmware in the printer/camera reads the EXIF information in the photo file and uses the date/time in the EXIF.
But I have not found an commercial photo service that will do that for you, even though the date/time is available to them.
If you ask a clerk in a store if a camera can do Date Stamp, they will likely say yes.
But they likely will not know which type of Date Stamp it is using.
If someone just happens to know of a camera with true Date Stamp let's hear from you.
I'm looking for a easy digital camera which can imprint the date on the picture when I have them made at the local drug store. Can anyone help? I currently have a Nikon E4600 that can do this function but want to update.
