Digital Camera Stuck

Mar 7, 2005 4:13PM PST

The problem is that my camera locks up on the same picture. It won't respond to anything either. When I turn the camera on, it will shut on and off on its own as well. The type of digital camera is a DXG-228. Any suggestions?

DXG-228

I have never heard of a DXG-228 camera but try the easy stuff first.

Install fresh batteries.
If you use AA alkaline batteries, they do not last long in a digital camera.
Rechargeable NiMH AA batteries last three times as long and are rechargeable.

If your camera locks up on a particular photo, the photo file is probably corrupt. You should delete that photo.
Better yet, you should use the camera format feature to reformat the memory.

The batteries it uses are AAA. The only problem is that when I try to delete this paricular photo it just stays stuck on that very same one. I'd probably have to delete them all. However, I will do this and will also change the format tonight. Keep you posted. Thanks.
