Some cameras do have the burst mode and more are adopting it. But most can not burst at 3 frames per second. I have used this feature and find it great for some action shots.
Kodak has always been noted for making user friendly cameras. The Schneider lens should be a plus for the camera.
There are not many owners reports yet but I found a few:

Canon vs Olympus vs Kodak. My friend has Canon A80(4MP), my brother has Olympus 159(3MP), I'm looking at the Kodak DX7440. Kodak has a 2.2" screen, viewfinder adjustment and the 'BURST' feature. U can take continuous shots...3 fps. I think that's a great feature, esp having kids. I don't think other cameras have this feature because of the lag between shots. Correct me if I'm wrong. I also understand that the Kodak is user friendly and has a good lens 38-132.What's you opinions?
