Digital Camera for Rainforest

I will be spending 10 days in the Costa Rica and will want to take pics in the rainforest. My current Kodak does not take good images in shadowy or dark situations. Any suggestions? Thanks

Most digital cameras can take photos in low light........but you will need a tripod for the lower priced cameras.

For weatherproof cameras, look at the Olympus Stylus.
