Both looked equal to me. But the common complaint is that some "content" doesn't look better. It's this simple... The original content was not HD so you don't get much gain.
I'm near Boston and the dish would wink out due to weather. It only did it 4 times in a year and at about an hour max. You decide if that's a big deal.
In closing, I went back to analog cable since I wanted local channels and have too many sets to service...

Hello all. I live in Boston and am trying to decide whether to get Comcast Digital cable with the HD and HD-DVR package versus DirecTv and its HD package. Which system has the better picture quality and sound quality? What are the pros and cons of each? Please give me advice on which to choose -Thanks!
