Digital Cable

by gumby4 / March 28, 2008 6:28 PM PDT

I have digital cable from Time Warner Cable and am having and off and on tiling problem when I record a movie onto a DVD. The cable company has checked and replaced all the wiring inside and out, all the signals coming into the house are good and I have a new cable box. The cable company today told me that my DVD recorder is causing the problem. Whats the deal with Digital Cable???? Its suppose to be so good and yet you can have problems when you record something. Personally I don't believe its my DVD recorder and I was told by the cable company to watch TV live and see if I get the tiling problem. It doesn't always happen!!!! I can record 10 movies and maybe one of them with have a tiling problem.
Anyone have any thoughts about your DVD recorder causing problems when you record digital cable????
