Digital Blue QX5 computer microscope

Jun 25, 2010 2:44AM PDT

I have the 1st microscope sold, Version 1, and a new computer running Windows 7. Email from Digital Blue:
"The drivers will not install because they are not digitally signed. 64-bit Windows Vista and 64-bit Windows 7 does not allow unsigned drivers to install. We unfortunately will not be creating digitally signed drivers for this microscope version."
Is there a work-around?

I own the QX3 but did you try?.

Did you try the qx5 driver at http://digiblue.com/customer-service/downloads/ ?

Fantastic value for the buck. Ok, I can share that XP MODE works for this model. For me this is a "worth it" reason to run Windows 7 Pro.

Hope this helps,
Bob (fellow Intel QX3 owner)
