digital audio books

if you can keep an overdrive audio book on a portable device until you remove it what do you have to do to keep it from being deleted on your computer ?

Why would it be deleted from the computer automatically? None of my files are. I have to do it myself. What's different with audio books?

That's how their system works. If this is unacceptable I suggest you not use their system.
