Digimax V10 streaming video?

Jun 17, 2005 9:54PM PDT

Hey, I have bought a Digimax V10 Samsung digital camera 7.1 Mega Pixel good machine.

In the box was a cable so i could connect my camera trough usb and another cable to connect it to the composite input.

Can i use the digital camera for streaming live video?
or use it on messenger as a webcam?
It has no option to use it as a webcam but i could see myself live when i used a program(muvee medion) to record video.

Messenger doesn't detect a webcam

Greetings Stef

Just FYI...

Digital cameras rarely make a good webcam and many times there is no such driver. Here's why. Because of the pressure for size and wieght of the camera, it's not made to run for longer than an average number of minutes.

If you do take some cameras and run them 24x7, the camera overheats and malfunctions. So to prevent that, no webcam driver is supplied.

What does FYI means?
and if i let it run just 15 minutes and then turn it off again?
I have a cd with drivers from the camera so that's no problem?
