Difficulty with downloads

Dear CNET,
I m having a problem with some downloads ( not all ! )
I receive a scren message informing UNABLE TO INITIALIZE INSTALLER
GUI.
Can you please help ?

What downloads?

Only downloads from CNET that use the infamous CNET installer? Then use the small direct download link below the big download button, or download directly from the makers site or download from other download sites like tucows.

Or are all .msi files, or all .exe install files you download from any site?
