Different colored file names?

Dec 4, 2003 8:11AM PST

Hello all I've got a sort of a random question for you.

Why is it that some of my file-names are written in black, while others are in blue? For example, one entire folder of my mp3's are only in black, but in another subfolder of mp3's, 90% of them are blue.

TIA

Then I guess I have another question.

How, or why do some of these files get compressed? I have a bunch of WordPerfect files in a folder, and they are seemingly compressed at random. Some documents are in blue and others in black.

Thanks

This is entirely your choice on the matter. Did you right-click on the files and uncompress if you want to?

Did you allow disk cleanup to compress old files?

Bottomline? All your choice and control.
