In one model suffix I found a cable (not this one.)
The varients are mostly a marketing ploy. The printer is the same.

A follow up to my previous post concerning questions that I raised about printing problems I'm having with my HP Deskjet 895Cse inkjet printer. Other than the difference in the model number designation can anyone who might know tell me what if any are the differences between an HP Deskjet 895Cse inkjet printer and an HP Deskjet 895Cxi inkjet printer? Was one of the HP models marketed to be sold here in the United States and the other model marketed to be sold overseas?
There happens to be a vendor on Ebay right now who claims to have 9; yes 9 brand new factory sealed HP Deskjet 895Cxi inkjet printers which he has for sell. I sent him a message through Ebay's message service late yesterday asking him to email me a few pics of one of his 9 new inkjet printers. He sent me a message back stating he was sorry but he couldn't send me any pictures because he didn't own a digital camera but he did direct me to the HP website for a look.
I don't know when HP stopped making the Deskjet 895Cxi inkjet printer nor do I know when they stopped making the 895Cse inkjet printer but more than likely those 9 new 895Cxi's that vendor claims to have are probably refurbished units. The vendor has a 100% feedback rating on Ebay but I just thought it was very strange for someone; anyone to claim to have 9 brand new factory sealed HP 895Cxi inkjet printers for sell. My HP Deskjet 895Cse for example says on the bottom that it was made in 1998.
There are others on Ebay attempting to sell used 895Cse and 895Cxi inkjet printers but this guy claims to have 9 new 895Cxi inkjet printers. If I wanted to take a chance on one of his 895Cxi inkjet printers would the drivers and software used to run my HP Deskjet 895Cse inkjet printer also run one of those supposedly new HP Deskjet 895Cxi's that vendor claims to have or would I need different drivers and software which should be in the box with his printers if his are in fact brand new factory sealed HP inkjet printers? Feedback would certainly be appreciated.
