Question

Difference between the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro and Note 9 Pen

Mar 4, 2018 5:10PM PST

The Samsung Notebook 9 Pro and Samsung Notebook 9 Pen are both very similar since they're Samsung 360° Windows laptops that both use an S Pen. They're promoting the Pen like it's a new product but the only difference I could find was that the Pro has a metallic covering while the Pen is all plastic and lighter, and that it has a power but placed somewhere else and a fingerprint included. I looked up the specs and they're all the same with a 15" 1080p screen, i7-7500u processor and 16GB of RAM. I assume the features can't be different since the Pro has a lot, even with the S Pen. I saw that they promoted the Pen with Voice Note which looks great since I'm trying to pick out a laptop for when I go to college. I assume Voice Note should be on both though. They didn't show any S Pen features that the Pen had over the Pro, so I assume nothing has changed. Sorry if the description is long, but I'm just shook and want to know about my options before I buy a $1,500 laptop for school. Thanks (^-^)
