General discussion

difference between Sony SZ120 and SZ230

Jul 16, 2006 3:51PM PDT

After looking at the specs. for both models, the only thing I can notice is that the 230 has a 120 gb hard drive, while the 120 has a 100 gb hard drive. Am I missing something? Is the 120 an older model because it isn't sold in most stores, while the 230 is everywhere?

I am asking because I saw the SZ120 at CompUSA for $1700, and it comes with a free router and a couple other things. The 230, on the other hand, is on sale for $1950. Could there really be a $250 dollar discrepancy when the only difference is 20 gb hard drive?

I'm confused. Anyone have any info on this?
