difference between motherboards in the same 'family'

by ramarc / August 19, 2008 1:05 AM PDT

a lot of people post questions about which motherboad to choose. and a lot of people assume a $250 mobo is much better than a $100 mobo.

this article gives an excellent overview of the various differences between a 'family' of motherboards based on the same chipset (in this case the intel p45). there are no benchmarks -- it just discusses the differences between each motherboard and can help you decide which one has the features you'll actually use.
