mmene,
There are a few differences in the two models, and the "B" series, of course, is this year's model lineup.
The A650 units in those sizes had 50,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
The B650 units in those sizes have a 100,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio.
The B750 units have a 150,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Radio.
The B650 units also have 1GB of onboard memory for the Medi@2.0 functionality (widgets) that last year's 6-Series did not have.
All of them have a good picture - and that is best judged by looking at them, but if you want the extra features and advances with widgets and options, the new models may be the way to go for those applications.
I'll see if I can get those specs posted.

What is the difference between the A650 and B650 series of LCD TV? I just saw the LN55B650 on Amazon.com and I am wondering if it is a good choice. There is so little info I don't know what to go on. I can't even find it on Samsungs website.
I was earlier thinking about something like the 52A750 and 52A850 but now I am wondering if the LN55A650 might be a better choice.
I know that the A750 and A850 have better processor and pixel technology than the A650 but I am wondering if the B650 has closed the gap on those and is now a viable alternative to them.
Any suggestions?
