Can someone tell me what is the difference between a cellular phone and a mobile phone

there is no diff other than a cell phone is small and is mobile and a mobile phone can be a cell phone but also can be one of those old war movies with a guy carrying a big huge back pack with a mobile phone inside.

No difference at all. Mobile providers prefer using the word "mobile" cause they feel that consumers think of the "braintumor" scare when they say "cellular". I work for a major provider and that's the 1st question answered in training.
