Diffence noted between picture quality with the Canon?

Mar 26, 2006 9:03AM PST

?S400 and my newer SD500. Both are pocket digital cameras.
I was selecting a few photos to send out to kiddpeat and Grim the other night. Had a batch from using the Canon S400 that I thought were good.
Reviewing the shots from my Canon SD500, I was impressed with the results. Much sharper photos.
Same site by the way six months apart in Turkey at Hagia Sophia.

Was the upgrade to the SD500 only digital, or was there an upgrade to the optics also?
Still like this little ****** for really good photos. Fits into my jeans pocket or shirt pocket. Nice when you are traveling.
The SD500 is actually smaller than the S400.

Wonder what the next canon SD will be like?

Kevin
