SEC would only take note if he'd just bought a bunch more

before making the statement, or sold a bunch right after an arguably statement-induced jump. CEOs are not proscribed from discussing their company and its prospects merely because they own stock! What's also noteworthy is that INTC did not notably jumpon the news. As for his jibe at Dell, frankly, had the IPOD not come on the scene, Dell would have been right!
