Did OS7 slow down my iPhone 4?

by smtginc / February 22, 2014 10:10 AM PST

I downloaded os7 to my iPhone 4 and it seemed to become slower than with the old os. Has anyone else experienced this?

The conspiracy theorist in me figures it's apple's way to 'encourage' users to trade up.

Anyway....I'd like to keep this phone until the 6 comes out.
Is it possible to remove os7 and restore the old os? And if so, how to do it.

The iPhone 4 will probably struggle a little with iOS7, personally I thing the 4S should have been the starting point.

As to going back to iOS 6, that is not possible.

Always research upgrades

I encourage waiting two months if that's what it takes to learn the ropes. It's common knowledge unfortunately that iOS 7 is generally a no go on the stock iPhone 4. Slows it down like molasses usually Sad
