Question

Did 101domain Lose your domain names?

Oct 12, 2015 6:40AM PDT

Did you have a similar experience with this Registrar?

I had many CCTLD and IDN domain names with this company, no more...
All my domains disappeared!
I spent many hours on the phone with the domains manager A.. and got no definite answer.
Just one delay after another.....
NO reason, no excuse, no refund!
Was it my fault for having the domain names dormant (inactive)?
Did they sell them without my consent?
Did this happened to anyone else on this site?
Did you manage to resolve the problem with 101Domain?
Whom can I complain about this company to?
Reading reviews like ripoff report etc. I got very discourage!
Please advise me, I tried to contact ICAAN but was unable to reach them.
For all the kind ppl who are trying to help with this mystery, here are some clarifications: Inactive, means: No DNS, no name servers assigned, no website content.
It does NOT mean unpaid, expired, or not financially responsible as you might try to imply, those 30+ domains were PREPAID for 4-6 years, they were all on "auto renewal" & CC info was valid!
To the one who didn't get the word "dormant" : Dormant is = temporarily inactive. as in "sleep" or just "resting".
Please Help,
TY

There is some hope for this corupt registrar.

Let us all hope that this corrupted registrar will be shorty improving.
Many customers (including me ) had their domains stolen or lost by 101Domain.
BUT....
Last week the company 101Domain, whish was tittering on the verge of bankruptcy was bought by Domain name registry Afilias.
Afilias, which manages the .info and .mobi domain names as well as a bunch of new TLDs, now owns a registrar known for carrying every domain name under the sun but is infamous for poor customer service and reliability.

101Domain president and CEO Wolfgang Reile was forced to step down as part of the acquisition. Long-term COO/CFO Anthony M. Beltran will lead 101Domain operations temporary under Afilias.
