dial up disturbance

I HAVE A DELL DESK TOP AT HOME AND AM ON A LOCAL CABLE HIGH SPEED CONNECTION. FOR SOME REASON ALL OF A SUDDEN I AM GETTING A BOX APPEAR ALL THE TIME ASKING ME TO CONNECT TO DIAL UP. HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS? I HAVE TO PUSH CANCEL ABOUT 5 TIMES FOR THE BOX TO GO AWAY.
