windows xp doesnt have other devices in device manager. are you sure you got the right path? right click my computer and select properties. a system properties window will pop up, select hardware, then device manager. if this is the path you took then i am not sure. my pc does not have a selection (other devices).

Did you receive separate XP and driver discs from Toshiba with the laptop, or a set of restore CD's?
These drivers should be on disc.

If not, you should be able to go to Toshiba website and find drivers and instructions for loading them for your model.

If you have trouble, post the exact model of your notebook, and someone will help you find them.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
