I am looking for a wireless router like the one in the link below.
My aim is to provide a backup wireless network for devices to use when not in an Ethernet connected docking station. Our users all have different networking solutions in place and so it would not be practical to roll out a device that required the use of another wall plug or network point. The device in the link powers from out existing docking stations USB port which is ideal. The existing Ethernet cable plug into the device and a new, 6 inch cable then goes from the device to our docking station, creating a new wireless network and maintaining the existing Ethernet connection from the one wall point.
Functionality required: USB powered; Ethernet cable in and out so that I can use one port to provide a device with a wired and wireless connection; reliability.
The one I linked to is perfect, however, it is a generic product sold under different names from numerous companies. I am looking for solution to add connectivity to over 3000 devices around the country and so I want a solution from a famous name, Asus, Lynksys etc. Reliability is paramount.
Any suggestions??
