You need to share it on the host PC first. Actually, from there you are usually able to connect to it from other PCs by browsing the network for shared printers. You will need to make certain that proper drivers are available for PCs not having the same OS as the hosting PC. But I need to be curious as to why such a high speed laser printer is not network ready. That's the easiest and best way to install a printer to be used by multiple PCs.
Have a high speed laser printer locally attached to a PC on a FIOS based LAN. How do I determine the //hostname/devicename to be entered on LAN attached PCs wanting to install a network printer (the printer already attached as a local printer on another PC) and send print streams to it?
