desperate information lacking.

Your post ignored the forum tip. It reads -> Tip: If you are asking for help to troubleshoot a computer-related problem, please be sure to include all the necessary information (ie: operating system, model number, hardware, software, etc) that will help others identify your problem for a speedy resolution.

No make/model/age/other information offered so I can only guess your machine has the usual out of date drivers, bios and is plagued by spyware or damage from virus, trojan or spyware.

Drivers are your ... responsibility.
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / February 27, 2005 10:54 AM PST

And I have an Acer ter-600 so I know a little about the Acer web site.

Drivers are there for you to download and install. Microsoft, Acer and Jeb will not do this for you.

In closing, there isn't enough clues in your post. You may want to keep writing. I'd reveal how you know the machine is free from spwyare, virus, trojans and more.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
