what resolution have your tried?

In reply to: desktop won't fit tv

1920x1080 is not a standard resolution for PCs... it's usually 1920x1200. you may have to manually select (or even force) 1920x1080 using your graphic card's tuning app. you may also want to conifgure the card to output 1080p.

you would need to specify your pc and video card for more specific instructions.

DigitalTV as monitor is nice and big, but...

In reply to: desktop won't fit tv

it also has drawback as well. It doesn't have multi-refresh and resolution may not be as high. So set the resolution as close to the tv resolution as possible but not more than its resolution. This way the desktop will be within the tv display. Hope this help.
