Add the PAUSE command here and there in your batch file to see where it went awry. Sorry, I don't see the batch file so I can't see if you forgot to CD to a directory or "other" common forgotits.
I am using win2000 pro and I have a DOS batch file named dojo.bat in c:\. If I open a command prompt going through the Start menu and then navigate to c:\ and type dojo and then Enter the batch works perfectly. But, if I send a shortcut to the desktop for the dojo.bat it won't work when I click it. What happens is the screen goes black for a second and then the desktop comes back up. Is there any way I can get a shortcut to work from the desktop or do I have to manually start the command prompt as described above and go from there. I used to have a shortcut on my win98se desktop that worked. What am I mising here? Any help would be appreciated.
