Desktop set-up for MacBook

I have a new black Macbook 13.3" and I am looking for a desktop set-up for my college dorm room. I want a stand that will raise my Macbook to a comfortable viewing height, and preferably one that has extra USB ports. I would also like advice on a good keyboard and mouse that are Mac-compatible. I don't need the set-up to be portable because this is just for my desk in my room, but I would like a relatively small set-up due to limited space. Any ideas of good items that fit this description would be very much appreciated!
