Question

desktop PC problem..delay in commands

Hi...For the last few days I have noticed my PC is reacting to my commands but in a time delay. For instance, when I scroll down with the mouse nothing happens for a few seconds then the screen jerks down. Also, when I am typing in a command, the letters are delayed from showing by up to few seconds. The same happens when I move from one site to another. I have just done a full scan using my 'Bullguard' protection but it showed no virus' etc.
Any advice please?

If you run just one program go into Task manager, find the Processes tab, sort the processes on CPU usage (with the highest on top) and see what other processes than System Idle are listed on top. Post the results in your answer.
