Enterprise versions come with outstanding support. Why not use that next?

Yes, they rarely come with media as the company supplies the laptop and support.

Part of the large price tag
Feb 9, 2014 10:46PM PST

Part of the large price tag on the Enterprise versions of Windows goes to fund dedicated support staff that are usually a bit better than the usual drone that just is reading from a list of canned responses. So call Microsoft and make use of that support you paid for, or since the Enterprise versions are generally sold only to large companies for use on company owned computers, you shouldn't be attempting to fix this yourself anyway. Tell your local IT department about it and if necessary they can call the MS support line for you. If efforts to fix some issue reach the stage where you have to reinstall the OS, and you don't let the company IT department deal with it, you should not be surprised if you find yourself seeking alternate employment.
