Desktop Icons not dragging

Hi, I have a really simple problem but its bugging the hell outa me. I decided to try a new resolution, and soon switched it back. But now whenever I try to move an icon on the desktop it switches to a pre-programmed spot nearset to where I moved it to. Can someone help me?

Try right clicking an empty area of the desktop....

choose "arrange icons by", and uncheck "align to grid". This should loosen up those little buggers.
