Desktop Icons

Problem/ desktop icons for downloading games can not be deleted. After game is deleted and you try to delete download icon it says used by other system.

With xp home how do you boot in safe mode; never had to do that. Thanks

The DESKTOP icons can be in the directory called 'desktop'. Move on boot can kill it.
