Your subject title said Desktop Explorer problems and Restore limitations. But then in the main part of your post you say you have an audio problem.
Which is it?
What has been complained before?
You said you are not one for procrastination, so you would have backed up your files. 'Would have' suggests you didn't. Isn't that procrastination?
That audio problem. What is the problem? What do you mean by backing it up, backing the audio problem up?
Perhaps a plain description of your system, (required), and a simple description of the problem would be best.
So, yeah, I know it's been complained about before, windows explorer disappearing. I'm not one for procrastination, so I would have backed my files up and wiped it clean by now. I'm no expert about computers, but I know a fair amount, so please bare with me.
I would give what model of computer I had if I knew or it would tell me, but unfortunately, there are limitations to having something of a Frankenstein's monster instead of something with a pedigree. (Haha, bad joke. Sorry.)
I have an audio problem, and even if I back it up, I have to go through a long and rigorous install of separate drivers, so I'm reluctant to leave it to wiping my drive clean.
Is there any possible way to fix this problem without having to dump everything?
