DeskTop Comparison!!!

by alphaae / March 16, 2009 11:42 AM PDT

I know this has been done before but I want to know which computer I should get.

I want to use the computer for video editing, creation, and photoshop.

I need to update all my adobe products to CS4 so either way I have to buy new software.

Here are the two computers I am looking at

2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
4GB (2x2GB) of 1066MHz DDR3 memory
640GB 7200-rpm SATA hard drive
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M with 256MB GDDR3 memory

Desktop PC

Usually I would highside on Mac but in this comparison I am having a little problem, the Windows rig looks pretty tasty to me, pretty decent hardware.

i think it's pretty easy for a pc type to move to a mac, but much more difficult for a mac type to move to a pc.

also, you can upgrade your existing adobe licenses and save quite a bit (rather than buying a full license), but i don't think you can upgrade across platforms.
