Designing Issues in Fashion site

Feb 7, 2013 3:29PM PST

I've build up a fashion + saving site. Because, I'm not a designer so I didn't work on its designing and need some suggestions. My fist concern is body background color and side bar color. Are these colors justifying a savvy fashion site?

Are you vying for the photoshop disaster award?

The images at the top that change seem to have very odd aspect ratio issues. It detracts from the clean look the site has.

It also doesn't resize to the browser's display area which I know is hard for many to achieve. So get rid of the bad aspect ratio images and it would get a passing grade in your usual web class.

Hello Johnwilli100!

You can get great color coordinated schemes by using Adobe Kuler.

For good ideas on coordinating your background colors and sidebar appearance, check out this link.

I do see your images are not displaying correctly as well. .This is attributed to uploading an image that is not eh correct size for the dimensions set in the code. You will want to make sure the size of the image is the exact size of the original banner or that the code is set to the correct image size.
