Also, they state that the D2 has broadcast quality digital video processing.. Does this mean that it can take a regular digital cable signal and convert it to broadcast quality HD? If that's the case i'm sold..
At first I thought the Denon was the way to go, but then I found the Statement D2.. I like the Denon being able to receive XM and Internet Radio.. It seems to me that the Statement has better Video Scaling capabilities.. I have a Sony KDS-R50XBR1 SXRD "which is the bomb!" It already upscales to "that just means it adjusts to fit the screen right?" Do I need all this upscaling in my Receiver? Is the chipset in the Receiver/s better than the ones in the TV? If I spend the extra 3 grand for the D2 "simply because it looks awesome lol" I would still have to invest in a seperate XM receiver and a Media Player to tune to Internet Radio and explain to the wife you get what you pay for "even though I don't really know what I would be paying for.. Can someone look through the specs and shove me off the fence? I guess it's the Video Processing that is the big concern.. What is the difference between the upscaling that comes with the tv, and these stand alone or in this case combined video processing? I can't find any reviews of these units or owners who have posted about them.. thanks tommy
