Dell XPS Studio 13 keyboard not working

My Dell XPS Studio 13 blue screened a few times this week and now the keyboard does not work. I had to use the on screen keyboard just to log on.

The mouse keys and touch-pad still work. I checked the control panel and the laptop still indicates "device working properly" so it thinks.

Any ideas?

That makes more sense than cleaning the keyboard as other thread recommends. How to I review logs to ensure I get back to the proper date/time? I have Windows Vista Home Edition.

Usually I remember such events.

I've never had to review logs and rolling back never affects my files. It's an OS thing.
