Dell XPS 13 (2015) with 2 monitors daisychain?

by Carlijnnl / July 1, 2015 10:58 AM PDT

I'm going to buy a Dell XPS 13 (the i5 model without touchscreen and with 256gb ssd) and i'm also going to buy a Dell Ultrasharp monitor U2515H. But in the future i really want to buy a second monitor (the same), but is it possible to connect the laptop to one monitor, and connect the second monitor with daisychain?

(Sorry for my bad english)

Thanks, Carlijn.

If you connected one display to one port and the second to another port, maybe. But Dell must answer if that is supported by their system.

I've yet to see daisychaining work, even on DisplayPort. Maybe in the future but not today.

Sadly, there's only one minidisplayport on the Dell Xps 13..
That's why I thought daisychain could be a great solution.
I'll ask Dell if they can check this for me.. Thanks!

Be sure to supply full model numbers as features in series move about.
