You mentioned nothing regarding what you are using for computer, hardware, OS this information would be helpful in possibly determining why you are having issues.
<span id="INSERTION_MARKER">I am a photographer, and was very excited to receive this monitor and get an exact color match to the printing lab that I currently use. The Dell website advertises this monitor as having "amazing color accuracy and crystal clear consistency", so after review, I thought this was a good choice, as I've always been a satisfied Dell customer. Upon receiving the monitor, I calibrated using Exritei1Display2 colorimeter/software and was terribly disappointed in the results. The color was so over-saturated, and completely unusable. In my attempt to troubleshoot this problem, I apparently exceeded my 21 day limit before I called to complain. My troubleshooting included replacing my calibration device/software, testing of my camera through Canon's customer service, I even went as far as to take the monitor to theprofessional printing lab that I use and have them run prints to compare to the screen as we connected to my Dell laptop. This is when we confirmed that the monitor is most definitely the problem. I immediately called Dell and requested as a replacement, and they were very accommodating in sending me a new monitor. I connected the new monitor, calibrated, and suffered the same results. Very frustrated, I spent hours on the phone with Dell Customer support trying to solve this problem. I spent hours on hold, was disconnected, connected to the incorrect departments, and when I finally reached someone, they had no idea what calibration software was, and could not guide me in any way. Today I called back to start the process of getting a full refund, and after spending another full hour on hold, I was told that I could not get a refund due to the 21 day return policy. I've only had the replacement for two weeks, but they count back to the original invoice. I was very frustrated and requested to speak with a manager, and again, after spend 15 more minutes on hold, was told that she was in a meeting and would call me back today, which she never did. Sorry for the long explanation, but feel that it's important to state my case. Can anyone respond with advice as to what my next step should be? I know if I call back tomorrow, I'll be on hold for hours again.
