Dell studio 1558 vs HP dv6t-6000

by ivan.o.salazar.9 / February 6, 2015 12:34 AM PST

Which computer should I get? They are both the same price and I am looking for the best one. Which one is newer? What is best for me? I need a powerful fast computer that I can upgrade if I want.

Aren't these laptops?
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / February 6, 2015 12:46 AM PST

Laptops have very limited upgrade paths. Some allow some RAM and some allow a move to SSD but that's it. Folk continue to forget that the video in close to 100% of laptops can't be changed.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
