dude I was in the same situation like you for a few weeks ....but only between the dell studio 15 and the hp dv6 1154tx....at last I got the hp dv6 yesterday for 64500 Rs,including a hp backpack
. I really wanted to get the dell coz its customizable and all but the only thing that was holding me back was the graphic card ,the ati 4570 is not a bad card ,but when compared to the ati 4650 on the hp its quite a low end card .I mainly wanted to play games(GTA IV, COD4 etc), so the graphic card was of great importance for me, I don't know whether studio 15 can play GTA IV or not,but it can play Doom 3, AOE III i'm quite sure of that. and look wise the hp looks gorgeous while the dell is quite plain. so it all boils down to what you want to do with your lap. hope this helped you, let me know what you're gettin![]()
P.S(the sony VAIO CS - VGN-CS36GJ/Q has a weak graphic card compared to the dell or hp)
Hi Everybody,
I wish to purchase a laptop based on centrino 2 platform. I have shortlisted 3 options Dell Studio 15 or VAIO CS VGN-CS36GJ/Q or HP Pavilion DV6 1154tx
All of them are now available in indian market.
I am not sure which will be better overall, in term of heavy duty apps like 3D Studio Max / games like Doom 3, AOE III and future servicability
Please suggest which is the best, or any other laptop better then these with same config with similar price.
