You may find the odd GX that goes beyond 512 but will yours? No one can answer that. On top of that, not all 256MB sticks work. I feel you don't need me to repeat why that is so I'll skip to who gets you the right sticks. It's crucial.com

I am running Windows XP Professional and I have 256mb of pc133 160 pin DIMM SDRAM RAM..on a Pentium III
I have contacted Dell already and they tell me that this system will only support 512mb of RAM..
Has anyone actually tested this system with higher amounts of Ram?
I would like to upgrade to a minimum of 1gb of RAM and it is my belief that this system while running Windows XP will indeed support the higher amount of RAM..
However I wish to find out if anyone has done this before I purchase RAM so that I can be certian
