most of us are not sitting at one and there are so many variations that conflicting guesses would abound.
I would guess that the "one blinking on the right (looks like an aluminum can)" might be the hard drive led but that is just a guess.
A user manual would likely show what each item is but I don't have one any handier thay you apparently. Take a look here:

My fan came on at hi speed for about 5 min and now there are lights on, one blinking on the right (looks like an aluminum can) and a solid light of another symbol that I can't tell what it looks like on the left. Both lights are on the front of my computer. Anyone have any idea what they mean/
