dell notebook inspiron 910

I spilled coffie on the keypad on my dell notebook inspiron 910. it made a high pitch sound for about 10 seconds and then the screen went blank. it will not turn on since. is my notebook kaput?

A new motherboard and keyboard will bring it back.

Almost always the data survives. I have put too many of those HDDs into simple USB cases for recovery.
