monitor problem
by oliviacj / July 10, 2009 3:17 AM PDT

I looked at you suggestion about the surge . My question is they have 1 blue outlet to plug your pc into it is suppose to make everything go off when pc goes off . If my monitor is plugged into another outlet what makes it go off it won't listen to the pc now why when the pc is plugged into another outlet Now if the monitor was plugged into a blue socket maybe smart power strip plug computer into blue outlet when pc turns off all things connected to it turns off. the only way I can get my monitor to go off is to unplug it. When it is in its white light mode i can hit the off and on button and it will go in d sub and work perfectly. I have a westinghouse LCM 22w2lcd it says it has a power saver in it . It if is not used for some time it suppose to go off . thank you
