DELL = LEMON .. worst laptop & service ever.
Bought a new DELL/LEMON laptop 18 months ago, first 12 months (warranty period) endless problems, ended up replacing, power supply, audio jack, sound & video card, motherboard. After all that the problem persists and DELL/LEMON service is now completely unresponsive. Problem from day one, boot up with in 5 minutes the unit shuts down no matter what is being done just shuts down, this shut down problem reoccurs every few hours. In the beginning I asked for a replacement - DELL/LEMON refused. To add insult to injury in HK DELL/LEMON does not have a service center and customers are required to do self diagnoses and repair until the customer service center in some other country is satisfied that there is a need to send a tech out. Service center always says it is software problem and has the customer reload software (operating system) meaning all settings are lost and need to be reset. I was doing a presentation the other day and this happened, I apologized to the group and said its a DELL/LEMON they laughed and 2 others in the group said it happened to them too. Never again,
